We bought this washer in August and so far, so good. I really like the fact that the water levels adjust automatically, according to the size of load so it never wastes water. I also love the additional options/settings. I use the "stain care" with the cotton setting, when washing my husband's stained shirts. I was recently impressed when I washed a shirt with a huge grease stain across the front, about a 8x8 area. I was ready to throw it away, but instead tried the stain care option and much to my surprise-every bit of it came out!! I'm hoping LG lasts longer than our last machine. I've heard a lot of positive reviews about LG. Our appliance repair man (who came out to fix our last washer) said he seldom has to repair LG appliances. I'd recommend this washer to anyone!

Great Washing Machine

This washer cleans clothes the best of any washer I have had. The only negative is that you can only soak clothes for 30 minutes. I would like to soak clothes longer. Also, the volume signaling when the washer is done is not very loud.

Large tub for bedspreads, quiet & dependable

I love my new machine, I wanted a new one with a large tub for a long time. I've had it about six weeks now and have not been disappointed once. I can wash my comforters, bedspreads, blankets without packing them up and taking them to the Laundromat. That is the best feature for me. My machine is amazingly quiet no matter if it does a small or large load. It does a wonderful job of cleaning and spinning out the clothes. The clothes are not tangled or wrinkled when they are done. On occasion I personally enjoy watching the action through the glass window. I already have an LG dryer that is doing an excellent job. Great combination to have.

I did a lot of on line research and over and over again the name LG was at the top. Haven't been disappointed one bit in owning this product.

Very Disappointed

Had to have the washer replaced within in a week due to the tub banging on the side of the washer. They replaced it with a brand new washer that turned out to be worse than the first one. I have since returned the washer for a refund.
Pros: none
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
