Excellent Washer!

I have had the same washer since 1998 so I have not been all that familiar with the new washers that are out right now. I recently researched them online and found great reviews on this washer and afforadable pricing. I was overwhelmed at first with all the bells and whistles and computer features but found it very easy to use. It has a very large drum and I can do very large loads. Also, it takes much less detergent than my old washer. I absolutely love it!
Pros: Performance, easy to use

This washer has all the options you could ever ask for in a washer. It is super quiet during all it's cycles. The spin cycle gets the clothes almost dry, which cuts down on the time your clothes spends in the dryer. It is also energy efficient so you water and electricity cost goes down. Oh and the price for this washer!!!! So affordable, it didn't break the bank. Just remember once you go LG you"ll never go back to any other brand!
So worth the money!

Poor Quality Washer

I am so disappointed in this washer. I purchased it because I have always been impressed with LG televisions and figured the same quality was in all their products.
The things I do not like about this washer are as follows:
1. It does not get the soap out of dark colored clothes even though I use so little I don't even know if I am getting my clothes clean. I also use the extra rinse feature in trying to get soap out. Thus using more water.
2. It spins the clothes so hard, it stretches them all out. I have reduced the spin manually but the clothes are more wet and have to dry longer.
3. It does not get the clothes clean. If there are even minimal stains (that have been pretreated) they still don't come out.
4. Don't like that I can not wash waterproof items such as small bathroom rugs and mattress pads. I have to go to a local laundry mat to wash these items.

I have been able to reduce the number of loads of laundry I have to do. I have already seen a reduction in my water usage. Would highly recommend this product!!

I love the ease of changing settings. And the size is amazing ~ love that I can clean my king-size comforter at home. Large washer also allows me to do less loads of laundry each week, which saves me time!
