Very good economical Energy Star product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was the lowest price 18 cubic foot Energy Star rated unit I could find. It has preformed very well since purchase four months ago. My only complaint is the rather flimsy crisper drawers that stick when pulled out. I applied some wax which helps. I would recommend it for a couple or small family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this appliance last summer; It has been in operation for over 6 months. When first installed, it was a bit noisy, kind of a humming sound, but quieted down a lot after a month or so. The drawers slide very well loaded or empty. Humidity controls on the drawers regulate how much I want to ventilate what I have in them. (I like a citrus or peppery odor when I open the door, not leftovers/garlic odors.) Great sized for the two of us. Lots of room for a small turkey or ham or Christmas leftovers. Door shelf 'guards' hold gallon-sized containers without bending much. Main shelves are easy to adjust and clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had just finished updating our kitchen and were looking for a refrigerator to fit into the space built just for a refrigerator. The GE's dimensions were perfect and it had the features we wanted. It looks great and is performing beyond our expectations! The price is comparable to others, but the quality exceeds what would be expected for a refrigerator in the price range. A best buy for the money!!!

I AM DISAPPOINTED IN THIS REFRIGERATOR!I REALIZE I DIDN'T SPEND AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT BUT THIS APPLIANCE IS LOUD,CYCLES CONSTANTLY, AND IS VERY CHEAPLY MADE (I MEAN, REALLY, ONLY ONE ICE TRAY?) SUCH THAT WITH THE PLASTIC VEGETABLE DRAWERS SLIDING ON PLASTIC HOUSINGS,THEY CHATTER EVERY TIME THEY ARE PULLED OUT AND PUSHED IN.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Keeps food very cold, even at low temp setting

I gave it to my mom as a christmas present, but I'm the one that's impresed at how cold it maintains the food, I had to actually lower the setting in the temp control from medium because it was freezing the food
