Only complaint is it is alittle loud compared to my previous refrigerators. The price was great and so far no problems

Great Quality for a Reasonable Price

I've had this refrigerator for four months and am very pleased with it. I especially like the glass shelves, compact size, and solid feel of the doors and shelves. The first week it seemed to run frequently, but now it runs less often than my old one. I was also concerned about reports of it being noisy, but it is a lot quieter than the 20-year old Roper that it replaced. There are two things I would like to see changed: the crisper drawers do not open smoothly; and the freezer temperature cannot be set separately from the refrigerator temperature. This hasn't been an issue, though, as it keeps both compartments at their respective ideal temperatures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I read a lot of reviews looking for a quiet frig. This one makes a little noise, not too much, about the same as 20" box fan on low. Most of the noise seems to come from the fan that blows over the condensing coils. There is lots of storage (including a gallon shelf) in the door but of course that space comes out of rest of the frig. The door has to be opened greater than 90 degrees to open one crisper drawer. There is a lack of printed instructions, especially on how to remove and install the shelves and the bars in front of the shelves. All of the efficiency labeling is out of date. I had the door hinged on the opposite side and at first was concerned that the seal was not seating correctly. I had to work with the seal every time I closed the door but after three days it was okay and sealing correctly.

Very impressed with the storage space! The shelves are very roomy and have more than enough room for storing food. Also like the clear shelves & drawers.

Our kitchen has unusual spaces for appliances. Your GE was able to fit and still have room for all my storage. I specially like the shelf in its freezer

The drawers all squeal, the door squeaks, I just wouldn't buy this product again.
