Just got the microwave installed works and looks great ,"but" I'm disappointed in the cook top light on the bottom of the oven the light is very dim, it's like a little night light, it only has one setting and that is low
very disappointed I wish I would have asked more ?'s

Microwave was not too difficult to install, and it included helpful templates for both upper cabinet and wall. Microwave light is plenty bright, and there is enough room for my reheating purposes.
As for the previous reviewers that commented about the microwave NOT having a timer.........well, it does have a timer! You may have to read the documentation in the owner's manual to operate it, however there is a timer included with the microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

True it's a great value and looks nice but there are few things that would have made me pay a little more for something else.
Only owned it for 8 months and part of the touch pad stopped working, the part is on back order so I'm guessing it's a common problem.
Vent fan is so loud I don't use it and it doesn't seem to draw the steam to the vent.
Only has one light bulb while other brands have two making the light insufficient.

Almost 2 yrs to the day it just stopped working--as soon as the warranty was up. Our first LG and our last! We will never buy LG again.

Great appliance, but LOUD

I love everything about this microwave except the noise. It is LOUD. But after living with an ineffectual vent system on my last microwave, I'm going to live with the noise. Those that need a gauge of the loudness? It makes conversation in the kitchen difficult.

Good Product for the Money

This is the second LG microwave I purchased. It is the exact one that I had previously purchased which didn't last more than 3 years which was disappointing. I do like it but wish that it had a timer feature on it.
Pros: Performance

Falling apart after 2 years

I bought this microwave a little over 2 years ago. The door handle has become completely detached from the front door, breaking the microwave door in a way where the whole door will need to be replaced. Prior to the door falling apart, the keypad panel completely fell off.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
