True UHD 4K player

This unit sports your traditional options seen on many Blue Ray players, and takes it a step further with the addition of ultra-high definition viewing, which is true 4K, not upscaling. It synchronizes well with the Samsung Smart 4K TV sets. Just open the disc drawer, and the unit comes on which takes the TV to the correct input to play. There is also a USB hub for playing media files from the player. I'm very pleased with the unit. The picture quality is excellent. This definitely is one of the best purchases I've made.
Pros: Realistic color, seemless operation, intuitive start-up
Cons: suggested retail price too expensive

With the recent price drop, this is a great value, but irrespective of price, it is a great performer. Fast load times, breathtaking picture (on the Everest 4k Bluray), good app support.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: a backlit remote would be nice

Your picture/sound are only as good as the equipment providing it and my new Samsung 75" 4K UHD TV needed an upgrade to 4K and this player provides that.
