This is my first 4k UHD player but it is very nice. SAMSUNG GUI is ok but performance is great. Colors and contrast are awesome. 4k BD are so much better than Regular R BD. I have had to rewatch many of My Blu Ray movies because they just look so much better. Set up was easy and quick. Load time was also fast. Nice player you can't go wrong.
Pros: Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wired (ethernet) connectivity issues. Poor user interface. Remote is clunky.
Pros: one of the few 4k units out there
Cons: poor gui, wired (ethernet) connectivity issues, klunky remote

I have only played one 4K movie so far. I have yet to try a cd or regular dvd. The picture was amazing!

First 4k player

This is my first 4k blu-ray player and I'm happy with the results of the performance. 4k makes the whole movie great, I can watch one movie all day and not be disappointed because of the picture quality. Just to wrap things up I'm satisfied with my purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, picture quality
Cons: price $$$

The player is great so far. The only problem I had was registering. I had to look up model number for it to accept the serial number then it would not allow me to put correct purchase date of January 10, 2017 because it only went up to 2016. So in order to be able to register I put December 31, 2016. Registration site needs improvement.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight

I got a defective model that was exchanged for a working one. Once bitten twice shy. My confidence level with it's quality is lacking. For the high price of the player plus the 1st not working, I should have bought extended warranty.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality

Awesome addition to my Samsung 4K Smart TV

The player displays an awesome 4K picture with Netflix and Amazon and the 4K BluRay was also crystal clear and lived up to my expectations.
The remote is a little difficult for a person with big fingers like myself. The apps could have been made easier to move around but I can overlook both for the picture.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, 4k picture
Cons: tiny remote control, apps could be easier to work with
