Purchased to replaced HP 4500 which had done a good job. We just wanted a printer with ePrint technology. The HP 6600 provides everything we need and was a breeze to set up.

Easy setup and fast printing

I bought this Officejet 6600 to replace my 5610. Though it makes a little more noise, the 6600 is noticeably faster and the print quality is very good. I bought this unit for three reasons: more pages per minute, more cost-effective use of ink, and wireless. Only time will confirm the ink issue, but this machine is definitely faster. I performed the initial setup over wireless with no difficulties. A second computer in my home also has no trouble linking wirelessly. Everything works perfectly. I was a little concerned about the function display, but have found it very readable. If you have any concerns about wireless setup, refer to the subject on the HP website. That information is very helpful.

I ordered this printer when my older printer wouldn't function properly anymore and while I was on assignment out of town. I received this new one within 3 days and got it up and running within 20 minutes. I have enjoyed this quality printer and would recommend it to others.

Installs easily and prints well. It is easily recognized by other devices. However I find that when it prints from iPhone or iPad, it adds a blank sheet. Further, it is not able to scan multiple photos and crop each separately. This is a huge problem for me, and I will have to use an old model printer that does the job.

My 74 year old mother Officejet 5610 suddenly stopped working after 7 years of contious use. Quickly looked for an inexpensive replacement and this fit the bill! Does everything expected with the added perk of wireless printing. Highly recommend to anyone.

A very good printer

As the review summary states, product is a very good printer, but would be an excellent product if HP had the proper drivers for all current operating systems being used today. Any computer accessory without the proper tools, manual, etc, becomes minimum when this happens, and although it is a very good printer, the serviceability could be better with the required tools.

This product works good with my computer my Ipad and even my phone.
Downloading eprint allows you to do more yet.
The 6600 is an air printer also which is what you need to Print from ipad and phone.
