Awful - does not dry dishes and it does not last

This was my first new dishwasher in over a decade, and I failed to do enough research on these newer 'eco friendly' models that cannot dry anything made of plastic. I purchased in late January of 2016.
After months of trying, I can say with confidence that this model does not dry dishes. And, before the site monitors get all trigger happy with their canned response, let me state clearly that the recommended drying agent does not make a difference when used as directed. Also, I have tried every possible combination of setting and including some suggestions on changing how the dishes are loaded. I have just gotten used to needing to dry the dishes by hand while I save up money to buy something to replace this one. Also, because it does not dry, I have to leave it open after running and between uses or it will start to stink. Or at least that was the case until a few days ago.
Now at still less than a year old, the electronic controls have stopped working - making it essentially useless. Before calling support, I came to this site to download the Owner's manual, and guess what? The Owner's manual is not available for download - the link provided: http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Kinston/117904941en.pdf says "The page cannot be found."
And again, before the apologists on the site even ask - yes, it still has power and no it has not been damaged, despite how I feel about this piece of garbage.

Hello anotherfrustratedcustomer, thank you for your review. I understand that you feel that the dishwasher is not drying the dishes properly. I would recommend checking a few things before considering service.
Please check and make sure the water coming in is at least 120 degrees, do you have heat dry cycle selected, and are you using rinse aid? I realize that as a consumer you feel that these are not reasons for your dishwasher to underperform. Over the last few years Energy Star has issued stricter standards for water and energy usage which can increases the need for Rinse Aid to dry dishes.
Plastic items may need to be towel dried. This is because plastic does not retain heat, resulting in poor water evaporation from the item. This is common in all dishwashers.

We bought this dishwasher because of the reviews....but honestly I'm still confused the dishes don't always come out clean, and for some reason the mind keep going up on the same cycle...started at 189 last week now with the same cycle its at 200 min....also this says there's a drying option nope my dishes are soaked everytime
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Also, check that your water heater is set at 120°F (49°C) to get proper water temperature inside the dishwasher. Lastly, run the hot water at the sink closest to your dishwasher prior to running your wash load. Ensuring the correct temperature is being used can reduce the time required for a complete cycle. Very quiet. Has one quick wash setting, other than that the options are for very long cycles, and none of them dry well... be prepared to use a drying rack. If that doesn't bother you then this is a fine dish washer. Also wish the bottom rack would pull out & stay.. You kind of have to pop it out of its track to get it to stay so it doesn't roll back before you can put a dish in or take it out.
