Awesome deal to great toasting.

Great toaster. I have recieved this toaster two weeks ago for testing and I have used it every day since then.
What I like about it: the design is great. It matches with the rest of my stainless steel appliances. It has all the functions anyone possibly need like the defrost and bagel button. I really like the way the toast is coming out. It's nice and toasted on the outside but still soft on the inside.
What I don't like about it:
For the value this toaster is awesome. I didn't find any major things I dislike about this toaster.
It's a great toaster and if I was shopping for toasters I would definitely give this one a shot.

Great toaster

I got this toaster to review an rate how well it works. I love the toaster especially when cooking my bagels. The different levels makes it easier to toast my bagel just right. The wide opening makes it easier to use and remove the bread crumbs. It is not hard to clean an improvement over most toasters. I can easily remove bread crumbs and it cleans easier inside and outside. I am glad I added this toaster to my list of appliances.

Simple 2 slice toaster

I received this as a sample product to review a couple weeks ago. While it has a nice matte finish on the outside and is easier to clean than I anticipated (I tend to stay away from stainless steel because I can't stand seeing fingerprints) the metal on the top gets really hot! There is a warning in the instruction booklet that mentions it gets hot, but it gets quite a bit hotter than I was expecting when I reached for the first bagel I made in it. There is room for improvement with the height when the food pops up, even lifting the lever doesn't always help to be able to get it out. It toasts the bread and bagels much better after the first few uses, it was pretty uneven until the 4th time I used it (darker on the top but still light on the bottom half). It's a decent toaster, but I would recommend a recessed top on the next version so that the hot metal on top isn't such an issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gets the job done

Basic toaster that gets the job done. I like the look and the different settings. It went really well with my other appliances.I thought the bagel function worked well. I also like the cancel function in case I didn't want to toast too long. Although I wouldn't recommend putting the setting any higher than a 3. Anything higher seemed to be to burnt for me. I received this toaster as a sample to test and review.

Lightweight, all-around good toaster

Overall this toaster works well and meets my needs. It has a few different settings, an adjustable dial to determine the heat level, and a crumb tray that is super easy to clean. It has a nice brushed steel appearance. My biggest concern is quality/durability. The toaster is pretty light and doesn't seem that well made. There was a slight dent in the stainless steel side panel when it arrived (although this doesn't affect functionality at all) and after only 3 uses, the plastic knob used to adjust the heat setting came off in my hand. It was easy enough to put back on but I guess I will have to wait and see how the product holds up over time. However, it does toast very evenly, and it's fast! I am pleased with how well the product actually works as a toaster. I received this toaster free of charge as a product sample. The opinions expressed in this review are my own.

I have only used this toaster a handful of times and now it won't work - very disappointed even though I didn't pay a lot of money for it!!

Terrible Idea

Who's bright idea was it to make the top plate metal? The picture of the product showing a bagel sticking half out of the slots is doctored. A regular slice of bread just clears the slot, and guess what, you burn yourself attempting to remove it. With all the specialty breads I am always needing to stick something down in the slot to get it out. Bottom line ... slice lifters don't raise the bread high enough and the metal plate wrapping the slots is HOT. Be prepared to burn your fingers a lot with this model. Right now my finger is burned and hurting so I thought it was a good time to write my review.

GREAT TOASTER AT GOOD PRICE

I bought this toaster (without the bagel button) back in 2003 -It just now has to be replaced 10.5 yrs later! My ONLY complaint is that the crumbs get underneath the plastic over the chrome and I'm OCD about that. It is cool to the touch sides though, which is why the plastic comes higher than the chrome. -I want the white one, but wish the brand was still in grey, not red.
