Uncleanible Toaster

The toaster toasts fine until it needs cleaning -- then look out! The toaster design doesn't allow the crumbs to fall through to the crumb tray and therefore the crumb tray is basically clean and empty, while various crumbs and pieces remain stuck inside the toaster itself to burn. We have had several smoke signals emitting from this toaster only to find we CAN'T clean the toaster at all. No trap door or anything to allow access to remove large pieces and crumbs that won't shake out the top. Last resort: stuff damp paper towels with a knife through the slice basket to barely clean. What a joke! A total fire hazard. Bring back the 'trap door', please!

I bought one of these toasters, and discovered the mechanism that locks the bread down to toast would not latch. I returned, got another one, and it's the same thing; fooling around with it numerous times before it would catch and be able to turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Burns one side and barely toasts the other. burns bottom of toast and barely browns the top. At least it doesn't throw the "finished" product out of the toaster like the other Sunbeam toaster did.

Great toaster! Pleasantly surprised with accuracy of toaster settings. My family all likes their toast done differently, so being able to adjust is a must! Slots really are big enough to toast a bagel without smashing it and drop tray makes cleaning a snap.

I bought this a month ago and was very well pleased. The mouth is longer and you don't have to turn the bread side ways like in some toasters. I recommend this product to all

I have been very impressed with this toaster. I use the bagel option frequently and it toasts them perfectly. The toaster doesn't leave any crumbs on my counter. The crumbs are easily discarded when caught in the tray underneath which can easily be pulled out and dumped in the trash when needed. I received this product to sample and review. I would recommend to anyone, especially if you love bagels!

I received this product to use and review. It looks nice but is rather cheaply made. To spite that, it does preform rather well.

I like the cancel button. First time I've see one of those on a toaster before. It also has a setting for bagel which I use a lot. Makes my bagels come out perfect. Black and chrome color goes great with my other appliances.
