Does A Fantastic Job

Very Happy with this Roomba. I have owned some of the older Roomba's and to me the 770 is so much better. The 770 model does a great job and is very easy to clean.
Pros: Easy To Use, Increases Performance

Very good but not great

I bought the 564 model but was very dissatisfied and returned it. Now that the 700 series is out I wanted to give it another try. The 780 was $ 100.00 more than the 770 I thought it was not worth it. The 770 I bought is much better than the 564 but Romba still needs to work on the following problems: 1. The dust bin is too small and you have to empty it every other day or every two cleans. 2. Sometimes the full indicator is on when the bin is only half full. 3. The brushes get dirtied and jammed they need cleaning at least once every five cleans. 4. It does not remove a lot of the cat's hair from the carpet. But I have three Shiraz white cats and my carpet is dark red. 5. It looks like it is too rough on the carpet. I find a lot of carpet remnants in the bin. More than the pets' hair or the dust. 6. It is noisy and you cannot use it when you are in the room. 7. It sometimes gets entangled in the sheets or iPod wires. 8. It scratches and leaves marks on furniture but I found cheap protective strip. It is used on aluminum windows to prevent dust from coming in. On the other hand I find it very helpful. My wife and I work and we like to close the bedroom, with the three cats in, before we leave. When we come back the maid is gone. Romba helps by doing the vacuuming daily job which a normal vacuum can not do. But you still need a real vacuuming once a week. It gets under the tables and bed where the maid does not usually do and where the regular vacuum does not go. I believe it would be perfect for all floors other than high pile carpet.

Best thing I bought when I was to ill to do any housework. Can get caught up if you leave cords lying around but no problem with floor length curtains or bedspreads.
Pros: Cleans Effectively, Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Use, Hassle Free Operation, Large Debris Bin, Long Run Time

Does Not Sufficiently Pick Dog Fur

We purchased this model based on many of the reviews posted on this website with the expectation it would sufficiently clean the main rooms in our home. This model, however, does not perform as advertised. We have two large German Shepherds and we bought it to help us keep the amount of fur down. Despite running this device a couple of times a day, we still had to end up running the vacuum every night. The roomba could not pick up the clumpy german shepherd fur and the portions of fur that it did pick up, it simply dragged it across the throw down rug in our living room and spread it all over the rug, essentially creating more of a mess and a more difficult clean up with the vacuum. Bottom line, do not buy this product if you have large dogs that shed, as it will not perform as advertised, especially in light of the hefty price tag.
Cons: Doesn't pick up pet fur, Not Easy to Clean, Not easy to empty
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Misses spots, does an okay job

Cleans most of the dust and pet hair but misses many spots as it moves randomly through the room. I tested it leaving dust along the way on the surface to be cleaned and not all was removed. Quite noisy too! Best to leave it running while not in the house.

This model is perfect for apartments and condos that don't have many multi rooms. I can't even remember what it was like to vacuum. It's worth spending more on the higher end models.

I have set my robot to clean everyday and empty the bin when I get home from work. The bin is still a little small so if you don't run it everyday it will get full and wont finish cleaning the room. It would be really nice if it had a texting/emailing option that would let you know if it was stuck, finished half the room or something, and just let you know that it has finished its cleaning.

Better than doing it yourself

I program it to run while i am at work, so that i return back to clean house. It cleans ok, it saves my time as i have a big house hold and pets. the problem is it gets stuck in the area rugs and sometime it just loose its way back to the dock and i find it dead at a random place. one time i returned back to find that it pulled a string out of an area rug and it ruined it completely and the brushes are stuck and its stuck to it. I cleaned it and removed the strings out from the brushes.
