Everyone should have one!

We have had the 770 for one week and we absolutely love it. It is fantastic on tile, hardwood and carpet. It does a great job under furniture, the beds especially. Anyone with a king size bed knows how difficult it is to do a good job vacuuming under it. Well not anymore! Roomba to the rescue! I cannot believe I went this long without one. My next purchase will be a Scooba.

I LOVE this robot. I have it programed to clean my living room and dining room at 2 in the morning. Its so nice to wake up everyday to a freshley vacuumed carpet. Only real issue I had was the throw carpet in dining room has black designs on it so the bot would get stuck in the middle of the carpet. Fixed that by putting a black border around the carpet and now it stays away from it. Thinking about getting one for my wood and glass shop in the basement.

This thing works so beautifully, and so effectively, throughout our entire (large) home, that we are kicking ourselves for not having bought one earlier. We love it. We have hardwood and tile throughout our 3000 sq ft house along with several area rugs. And we have pets. Hairy, hairy canines all over the place. Almost as if by magic, floor cleaning is suddenly off of our "To Do" List permanently, and our floors look new! Thanks so much , iRobot. Wow, a product whose performance exceeds what its manufacturer claims it will do. Go figure!

I'm single; live in the desert....lots of sand/small gravel. This does not replace intellectual, contact....however it does make me smile.

Junior came to me and works like a dream. He keeps me company, whirring about the house...while I do other things. Although I have some "cons" listed, they really aren't negative in any way. Regular maintainence is necessary, especially when he is cleaning up after 2 furry canine children and 4 furrier feline children. True, he gets stuck here and there and sometimes I call him names when he does, but he forgives me and once I move him, Junior just keeps up the good work. I love him...even though he is a dork and gets stuck once in a while!

BEING BLIND WITH A GUIDE DOG THAT SHEDS HAIR YEAR ROUND MY I ROBOTS ARE A GODSEND TO KEEP THE HOUSE CLEAN. I HAVE A 500 SERIES UPDATED AND A 700 SERIES AND KEEP THEM RUNNING DAILY. PICKS UP ALL THE HAIR FROM THE DOG. THE GUIDE DOG RAISEN DOES NOT LIKE IT BUT I LOVE IT. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND I ROBOTS TO EVERYONE.

Love this little robot!

My husband and I finally decided to purchase a Roomba 770 (after much discussion about the price, do we really NEED it, etc.). Can I just say I am sooooo glad we did!!! This robot is an absolutely amazing cleaning machine! Not to mention very entertaining and exciting to watch the first several times you let it loose! We have a yellow lab, so one of the main reasons I wanted the Roomba was for in-between cleanings, just to help with the hair that sheds CONSTANTLY.....and I am happy to report it does a wonderful job! And now I'm not so sure how often my vacuum cleaner will be coming out!! LOL!! I put can get stuck as a con, however that is just a part of the learning process for me, not really a negative thing for the robot.. One of my bathroom throw rugs got folded over and it got stuck on that, and it got tangled in my curtain that hangs to the floor..Just be aware of what you have in the rooms it will be cleaning. I truly don't have any complaints as of yet, easy to use, easy to clean does a great job!

Best product I have bought in years

I originally purchased this for my mother who is 79 yrs old. She bragged so much on it that I borrowed it and was amazed at how well it cleans the carpet, rugs and tile. Mom has one little long-haired dog and I wasn't sure how it would work with my two long-haired Shetland Sheepdogs but it's wonderful. We do have to empty the bin with every use but it's well worth it. I plan on buying one for myself soon.
Pros: Cleans Under Furniture, Easy To Install, Easy To Use, Inconspicuous Design, Performs as advertized, Picks up pet hair
