Just purchased this product. Watched the included DVD on set up and use. Plugged it in for the first charge and a few hours later it was ready. Pressed the clean button and off it went! I was amazed at how thoroughly it cleaned up, moving seamlessly from my carpeted areas to tiled areas. Completely cleaned under my table without moving the chairs out, and in and out of all kinds of places including under beds! I have it set to clean 6 days a week, and as long as it's picking up as much dirt as today, I'll continue that schedule. If it seems to keep up with pet hair and dust, maybe I'll cancel a few days a week. I think I'm going to love this!

Great for pets & scored at a really good price

I use my Roomba 4 days a week. The dander in my home is legit having 3 cats and the Roomba always seem to do a great job of constant cleaning. Its like having a maid everyday on my floors. The only drawback I have is the unit is relatively noisy. I would totally get one for my second floor if the pricing was a little more attractive. I have no use for the virtual walls and think they should be sold as an accessory to help reduce the costs for the unit. Overall, great job iRobot team. I am really impressed!

The 770 is my second Roomba. The battery holds a charge longer than the earlier model. It cleans best when confined to one room with the virtual walls. I like the way it cleans along the baseboard and it does a great job on tile. I especially like having it clean the hardwood floor under the bed. Self docking to recharge is a great upgrade feature. My biggest complaint is that while running it emits three levels of noise, like three syllables.

Best present I ever gave myself! I have a busy spouse, a teenage son, and a cat. My floor was never clean. Now I program my Roomba to clean the floor at 0300 AM. A clean floor every morning. I occasionally find "Mrs Hudson" stuck under our sofa, or out of power after failing to dock. (It is easy for the dock to get pushed around out of position). I simply return it to the base and by the next nightfall it is ready again.

update: even more in love with my Roomba

Seven months after receiving my Roomba as a gift I am even more in love than I was that first day. I feel truly released from drudgery, as stated above, and I CANNOT recommend this product enough. I know a lot of people who love their Dysons, and I can respect that, but they can't compare to a vacuum that does the work FOR you! I'm sitting here writing this review while my Roomba rattles and bumps around behind me - what more can you ask for? Do yourself a favor and BUY ONE!!!

So far so good. It is great having a remote control and make the roomba goes where you need it. Bin fills a little too fast, but if you maintain your home clean that is not a problem. I am loving it

This is an amazing product. Bought it last night and used it today for the first time. I could not believe how much dirt it picked up in my apartment! This was money very well spent. If you hate to vacuum like I do, you will be very happy with the roomba.

I love my Roomba Rosie Ibot. We call her Rosie. It's amazing how well she cleans.She has found dust bunnies that have been under our bed for 16 years. I go back over the family room rug when she is finished and it hardly picks up a thing. I am so please to have her. Our young (7yr old) granddaugher takes her to the playroom over the garage so she can clean up there. The other day I heard her talking to Rosie as if to a friend. She even put good job stickers and sparkly star sticker on her to make her beautiful. She has become indispensable in our household.
