Great Cleaner

This vacuum is awesome at collecting pet hair and keeping my house clean. I was nervous to use the cliff detector and always blocked the stairs (especially since they are carpeted), but it works very well and I no longer block the stairs. My only "complaint" is that if I carry it upstairs (away from the base) sometimes it finishes cleaning under a bed or dresser and it's hard to find. It would be nice to have a "page" button on the remote to help me locate it.

Cons: Can Get Stuck, Frequent Maintenance

I was very excited with my Roomba. Set it up to clean my wooden floor before going to work. Come home happy to see how great this little Roomba works. Satisfied with this product when you have 5 dogs to take care off. Looking forward to buy the Scooba soon.

We live in NYC therefore the possibility of tracking in dust, leaves, grime, etc is endless. We purchased the roomba to assist with sweeping the floors and vaccuuming the carpets of cat hair, dust, human hair, etc. It does a spectacular doing so. Sure it may get caught for a while in between desk and chair legs, but it eventually finds its way out. Yes the constant empyting of the bin and maintaining the brushes is annoying, but that is a product of us having a long haired cat among other reasons. We were recommended to get a roomba by 2 other NYC couples who also rave about the roomba. All in all, it was a great choice to buy the roomba.

I recently inherited two dogs - one that sheds so much I was seriously considering getting rid of the dog. Now with my Roomba 770, I can enjoy the dog and not just be consumed with daily vacuuming of hair.

I saw this when it first came on the market and wanted one then. Since it's debut, I am certain numerous improvements have been made (i.e untangles itself, virtual wall feature, programable...) My sons and their wives and my husband gave me one for Christmas and I am thrilled! You would be surprised at how much fur and dust is in the dirt cup every day even after you've vacuumed!

I've had the robot for a year & use it every day. I just had a problem with it, and customer support was great. I have a longhaired cat and this helps a lot to keep it under control. I don't have rugs. The roomba is pretty loud, but it doesn't freak out the cats and I usually run it when I'm not home. I wish I could schedule it for twice a day! Keep it clean - ever day or two - and you won't regret it. .
