Excellent buy great product

A great buy for a really fine product. I go through monitors like a madman. This particular monitor offered me the proper size and crispness that I find extremely useful when running my AutoCad program or just plain gaming.
I couldn't be happier with this product.
Of course this being said BEFORE the warranty expires!
We shall see.

Super slim 27 inch with HDCP-HDMI , blu-ray movies

I brought this item from amazon and this is the best monitor which i have ever used . I generally use this for photo-editting, watching blu ray movies, this supports HDCP with HDMI and DVI .Earlier i have used samsung central station (C23A750X) 23 inch which was not HDCP and i couldnt watch any blu ray movies . Very few monitors are avaialble with HDMI -HDCP in the market . I really like the non glossy screen.This monitor is really super slim which can be easily removed from the stand and easily pack up. One of the best 27 inch monitors with this budget.Amazon super saver shipping was ultimate.No ghosting effects ,no dead pixels .Also this monitor is ready to plug and play to any laptop.No problems with HDMI connection to dell XPS 15 502 laptop.No need to install any drivers.

Nice big monitor, very little complaints

Got this monitor and loving it; replaced a 22inch LG Montior.
Looks crisp very bright just wish that the darks were a bit darker.
Has plenty of options to tune the colors but nothing quite got the darks as dark as I wanted without dulling down the bright colors
Overall for the price and size of the monitor I think it was well worth it

I have purchased many flat screens from LCD - LED - Plasma - and now LED/LCD. I have never in my purchasing history of monitors for my systems have had such elegance, beauty, clarity and eco-friendly / Super Energy Saving that even saves tress until now. The LG FLATRON E2742 has been now the best purchase I have made. The performance and reliability has been so great that I have also purchased 2 more LG FLATRON E2742 displays. LG as we know as Life’s Good has now become to me Life’s Great!

Lack of driver support

Without driver support for new OS. The quality of the screen is very poor. I would not recommend this monitor. Many other brands are fully driver supported without purchasing a service contract.

GREAT MONITOR

This thing is awesome! Great color, easy to set up,easy access to settings, the list goes on! I highly recommend this monitor to everyone. I had been looking at this monitor for weeks, then Black Friday came and I got a great deal! I recently added a Radeon 7750 HD graphics card to my PC, this monitor is a great compliment to it! I swear sometimes I think I'm actually "IN" the game! LOL
