I had my Galaxy S6 stolen while out of the country and they still cannot log into it, Thank you Samsung Login. Anyway that let me get the S7 Edge. I AM IN LOVE. This phone has all of the great features that I have come to love with a Galaxy device with the new addition of the edge function which I did not have on a device before. Some may find it a gimmick but only if you do not know how to optimize it. Having a memory card slot back for video and audio is great for my traveling. It was not made larger to where it would not fit into the Gear VR which is a major plus for me. I have become almost fully Samsung networked, the compatibility with the various products including and now revolving around this phone far surpass the difficulties with other "best of" products. The resolution of the screen, angle and clarity of the camera, all and all I do not see how this can get to be much better of a product unless it becomes unbreakable. I almost want a slightly smaller phone ( I have a Gear S, and Tab 4), but I am stuck pondering on that since this fits my VR so well. Additionally when having to replace the old phone Samsung allowed a copy from feature which allowed all old networks and other pieces of digital info to be the base point for this phone's life.
No gripes about how the phone functions or features. The only flaw is how easily the front glass shatters. My phone was dropped from about a foot in height, and the entire screen shattered. Bad luck? Possibly. But was hoping for something a little more rugged.
Title pretty much says it all. What's not to like about it. It has everything but IR so no peel which I really liked on the 5 (skipped from 5 to 7 both wife and son have the s6). I personally dropped it many times with no problem but my 3yr old stole it for less then a minute and cracked bottom edge right over the settings button. I love the look and feel, sound and visual quality. Speed is nice too. I like this just like all my other Samsung toys. Sorry I'm not a writer would really like to get across why I like thisphone so much

Ever since purchasing my first Galaxy S2, I have been enthralled with Samsung's innovative design of providing me with the latest and greatest technology that has literally changed the way I live. I have consecutively purchased every new Galaxy S device the moment each one became available to the public. I can definitively say that my new Galaxy S7 Edge is the best version yet. Samsung has created a perfectly seamless way of integrating all of your favorite Samsung devices with the new S7 Edge. Syncing and screen mirroring with all of my other Samsung devices are now easier than ever. I've also enjoyed all of the included applications as well as the unparalleled processing speed regardless of the task. I seriously barely even touch my laptop these days because the S7 Edge has everything I need.
This is my 1st smartphone, I've had it for 3 weeks now & I love it. I've had cell phones in the past (15 years ago or so) & I just never used it very much nor was it a good phone. I've seen a lot of people had smartphones & use them all the time, I just always questioned the quality & usefulness of one. About six months ago I began becoming interested in smartphones & asked questions to some coworkers about theirs. One has a Samsung Note5 & pretty much demoed his for me. I then began some research by reading consumer magazines, online article reviews,& watching video reviews. I finally narrowed it down to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 & S7 edge. During my research, I mainly focused on the specs of the product until I watched a video that talked about the feel & design of the phone. When I held my coworkers Note5, I did notice that it felt a little bulky for me. When I was shopping one day, I seen some S7edge demos out & picked one up. I didn't hold it long, but I knew this was the phone for me. My S7 edge is light, thin (in both width & depth) & very comfortable to hold & handle. I fish, so the waterproof feature was also a big selling point for me as well. The specs are solid, the voice/phone very clear, reception even in the middle of a lake, simple to set up & use. I'm very pleased with my S7edge, it's a great phone overall, even for a beginner like me.
