Upgraded my burnt out Galaxy S3 for an S7

Not by choice, I had to buy the latest Galaxy. The S3 I had for just over 2 years was consistently overheating, and a new battery didn't help. I looked to the S7 to solve that problem, and largely achieved that. Size, speed, look and feel, all good. Two issues however still seem to lurk on the horizon ... even at 2 months of age, it does seem to get more warm than I had hoped while in use and when charging; second, I'm not happy with how Google maps seems flakey at 'losing its voice from time to time ... no audible voice directions. Had to reboot several times over a couple days to get it back. A software issue, or hardware ... I wish I knew.
Still, as the flagship Android device, it is a good buy.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, overall fast performance
Cons: overheating suspicion, lost audio with google maps
I would recommend this to a friend!

Blazing fast!

No, really. This is the fastest phone I have ever seen. It doesn't ever lag or freeze. I love the design and quality of the finishes. Fingerprint sensor is phenomenal. Camera is fast and so much better. I also love the fact that it is waterproof again.
So happy!

I just bout this phone it has been grateful that it dose everything and more it a little lighterror than the 5 with a life proof case on it ... I have hook every thing that I put on this phone... it don't muffler the voice out there

A great phone

I upgraded from Galaxy S 5 to the S 7. I couldn't be happier. This phone is beautiful, fast and the battery is great. Love being able to use external sd card.

Love this phone! The best really did get better!! So quick...takes fabulous photos...so much better battery life!!! Could not see how they could ever improve upon this!!!

Overall a good quality product

Been using for several months with no major problems. Need to know a few tricks to get the phone recognized by the computer, when connected, to download or upload files. Also battery life could be improved. I only get about 14 to 18 hours before a low battery warning no matter the usage. Speaker position could also be relocated from the bottom of the phone to the sides or top. A speaker on each side for stereo listening would be nice.

Cons: some features not user intuitive
