I switch back to Android after taking a ~5 year venture with iPhone. I had gotten tired of iPhones being so expensive, but not really adding new year over year. After the last update broke a majority of the Apps I use and caused unexpected call drops, I decided it was time to move off the platform.
I had researched several phones before I selected a Samsung, and I went with the S7 because after having used the iPhone 6 Plus for two years, I was ready for a normal sized phone again.
The Samsung won me over with features like being water resistant (after I dropped an iPhone in the sink, this hit close to home) , expandable storage and integration with some really cool gadgets, like the Gear S2, which pairs great with the phone.
A quick heads up, the OS version on the phone has a bug that prevents you from accessing the Play Store while on Wifi. Either download a DNS Set tool and update the OS or just do the OS upgrade via your cellular service.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight

Best phone yet.... But where is the white one?

I love the s7 so far, but have 3 minor issues.
1. Where is the white phone? I loved my white s4. Please bring back white.
2. What happened to glove mode? I use my phone every day at work - with gloves. It's a pain that it went away. I miss that very much. Please make the screen sensitivity adjustable again.
3. Also please make a phone that has a truly flat front screen. (The s4 was good) Many people want their glass screen protectors to go clear to the edge of the screen. That doesn't seem possible with slightly curved edges.
All that said, the s7 addressed pretty much all of my complaints about the s6. It brought back the SD card (THANK YOU!). It's water resistant (big +). And it has a better battery and more ram than the s6. It seemed my s6 was always under powered. Not the s7 though. Also the fingerprint reader and camera are much better on the s7. The s6 had a very picky fingerprint reader. I also love the fact that the s7 is a little chunkier than the s6. It feels so much sturdier in the hand. I appreciate that the camera bump went away too. Also thanks SOO much for making the plain old stock Samsung internet app avail on the play store finally. Neither my Verizon s6 or s7 came with that loaded. I used & missed it.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, better fingerprint reader, sd card!!, no more camera bump, water resistant, better battery, more ram, wireless quick charge
Cons: no white color offered in the us, no glove mode. unable to adjust screen sensitivity, curved edges - hard to fit glass screen protector

I absolutely love the new Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. It is, by far, the best samsung device, to date.

I love my s7 edge, fastest android ever owned. I really recommend that every one go out and get one.best camera too.

Best smart phone sense than old BlackBerry back in the day and the new Samsung galaxy at seven is my favorite smart phone at this time really good camera really great battery life time and I love having it connected to my Samsung galaxy here watch one of my best features on the phone is going to be the camera it to me now and zooming in is amazing
