I legit love this phone.

The camera, both the front facing and the regular are wonderful. I sincerely enjoy the pro options for the regular camera and the quality of the shots is wonderful. I love love love that there are now more mode options for the front facing camera like a wide angle shot and the front facing "flash" - both are supurb.
I also am very happy with the battery life which is significantly better than the S5 I had before. And of course I am glad that the phone is water resistant again, a feature that was missing from the S6 and one of the reasons I kept my S5 for so long.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, camera features, battery life
Cons: pricey, battery is not removable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful phone, but....

The phone is beautiful, but it freezes up constantly, it lags when I try to do multiple things at once. I wish I would have stayed with iphone. Hopefully a software update comes out SOON!!!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, freezes up, lags, has to be restarted a lot

Wonderful (except battery life)

I absolutely love this phone and all the features, water resistances really comes in handy. Only issue I have is the battery. Find myself having to charge my phone two-three times a day even if I leave it alone and dont touch it the battery drains and that's not ideal for me as busy as I am. Other than that..perfect.

One of the biggest challenges for a new product is the addition of new features without sacrificing the benefits of previous editions. It would appear that the Samsung Galaxy S7 was made with this in mind. The minor changes to certain aspects are beneficial, but can easily be overlooked if one is not conscious to them.
As a customer, I cannot express how glad I am that we did not lose the benefits of a removable SD card slot, water resistant measures, and durability that makes Samsung a valuable choice. With that said, the opponents of this platform world most likely vocalize the lack of additional, flashy features that might draw a consumer who has no regard to substance.
If I had to complain, I would point out that the default texture of the phone is pretty slick (something really rectified with the use of a case, which would have been a purchase I would have made regardless) and the fingerprint option takes some getting used to (pressing instead of swiping). In addition, the battery life, while sufficient, is surprisingly not exponentially better than previous versions. This may have to do more with the fact that I purchased the basic version and not the Edge.
All in all, I think that the best trait is the value of the product. The habit of other companies to forget this consideration is one of the reasons why Samsung continues to lead the way in this field.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, battery life is adequate

I upgraded from an Iphone4 so the tech advances are great. The overall size is a bit big but I am sure I will get used to it. Camera takes spectacular photos.

I love the new Galaxy S7! I upgraded from the S5 and the new features are amazingly intuitive. From the ability to scroll the screenshot to capture a longer article to the "food" setting in Camera mode this phone has thought of it all. Great battery life and the fast charging cord or wireless charger make it a breeze to always leave the house with a full battery load.
Pros: Lightweight, great features, camera
