Very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had the washer for a few days. It works as advertised but I am getting some medium vibration during the final spin. Otherwise, works great. Good value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation was quick and easy. The washer gets the clothes clean using less water than my old machine . The spin cycle is less noisy and machine vibration on spin is minimal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is quiet and the inside large and the clothes smell like they should (another person said she has a bad smell for awhile now..must just be her washer or maybe she has bad water now or for some other reason. The delivery man recommended putting the wash cycle on without clothes for the first wash cycle just to clean it first..maybe she didn't do that.) The first cycle with no clothes in it, the washer sounded loud at first..but was probably just because there were no clothes in it, it is quiet now. Works fine so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet, reliable, easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement for an Amana Washer that lasted 21 years. Love the stainless steel drum, very quiet, easy to load. Only drawback I find, is if I want to add softener, I have to keep checking & watch for the rince cycle. You can not tell if it has entered that cycle. Otherwise, spins almost dry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried one of the HE machines and was not happy at all with the results of my wash. Thank god GE still makes the old style washing machine because nothing beats it and you get to do your own savings. THANK YOU GE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this for two days... did four loads in it that would have taken at least 6 loads in my old washer... and QUIET!!! It sits right next to my kitchen in the laundry room and we could hardly hear it!! Although I tried stopping the cycle and adding a few more items and a few more minutes and it started clunking loudly. So I don't recommend messing with the cycle once it's started. Also, I have to get used to the slight delay whenever it's between functions. But the manual says this is completely normal.
Overall... I think I'm going to love the size of the tub and the silent action. But I DID replace my 45 year old Maytag that was still working just fine!! We'll see how long THIS one lasts!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used my new washer a few times. The first time I used it without reading the manual and the noises and operation concerned me at first. I formerly had a gear-operated washer and this new one sounds different. It cycles up and down in agitation and spinning. Without knowing this I originally thought something was wrong. No, it's just different. My first load came out clean smelling and well-spun. By reading the manual, I also learned that it has a second rinse you can select by turning a dedicated knob to "power rinse." I don't use fabric softeners, but I do like to give towels and sheets an extra rinse.
