Only wish that it had soak and gentle cycles

I needed to replace my old GE washer recently. I had had GE washers before and was very satisfied. I insisted on a few features: I wanted to be able to wash in hot water and I wantd to be able to do super size loads so I could wash items such as a queen size bedspread, large loads of towels, etc.. So far all has been well with this machine. My old one had an option of two rinse cycles; even when I don't use fabric softener I am using the Power Rinse option. I am curious to see what my next water bill will be like-should be lower with this machine. I've noticed that my clothing, etc.,-even items hung outside to be dry-are feeling softer than with my previous machine. I feel it does a good job cleaning items too. I did not want to spend a very large sum of money for a new machine so this was a good choice for me and I'm glad I elected to go with GE.

Great spin cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just love our new washer. It is very quite and, does a good job cleaning our clothing. The spin cycle, spins out a lot of the water that in turn reduces drying time.The only issue we have have is with clothing that has strings or straps, they get rapped around the center of the tub and damages the clothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gets my laundry clean with minimal water and detergent. Easy to control water level and wash time, and spin cycle gets clothes bone-dry so they need less dryer time.

Super quiet!

I recently moved to a house with no installed washer/dryer. After looking around I decided to try this GE model. I have had it only a week and so far I am loving it. It is so quiet that I forget I have a load of wash going. The tub is huge! It will be great for washing those extra bulky items. In the meantime I am trying to catch up on the regular washing that accumulated after my move. Everything looks and smells clean and that is all I need.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This machine actually uses WATER...YEAH! The only problem is when it spins sometimes the clothes get all tangled up, even in the agitator. However, I am pleased with everything else.
