Experience with GE washer

The washer does a poor job of cleaning clothes. They do not seem clean when the washing is complete. For that reason, I am not satisfied with the machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very happy with how this machine spins (extracts) the water. Shortens the dryer time. Questions about water levels are addressed in very helpful website Q&A.

Great washer

This washing maching is great. The only drawback is it DOES NOT have a DELICATE wash cycle. Otherwise, it's very easy to use. Just like the old ones, there are NOT a million buttons and lights. Most importantly, you get to pick the size of your load. There is no pausing, the machine doesn't decide how much water is yous, and it doesn't weigh your clothes. It takes half the time to wash as my mother's new washing machine that makes all the decisions for you. Other than no delicate wash cycle, I LOVE THIS WASHER!!!

All the features I wanted: no lid lock, manually set water level, temperature. I am in control. Only thing missing is an end of cycle signal. Great job cleaning.
