Was delivered with an existing weird noise. 2 GE techs tried to repair it, both saying it was something different, both were wrong. GE was not easy at all to deal with for me, won't buy another GE product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

About half the time in the spin cycle, the washer goes off balance and thuds loudly until we open lid and readjust. We do NOT have filled too much. We do NOT have clothes uneven when put in washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Closer to the old fashioned washer type

Like that it still has the stop feature when you lift the lid but the cycle continues on unless you actually click the control off. My sisters washer has a lock feature and you have to push a button and wait 30 seconds before you can open the washer up and throw another piece of laundry in. This one is much better. The automatic fabric softener cup in the middle is nice but it dropped down the first day. Didn't think it was worth the repair call just to lift the cup back up, it still works this way. All the new washers have a much higher speed spin cycle and they stretch the clothes out much more than the old fashioned models. Overall I am happy with my choice

The clothes are not clean.The water level does not fill up completely their is nothing I like about this washer.Can not stop and restart.
