I forgot how a good washer performs. First thing I did was to keep checking to see if it was working. It is sooo quiet. Second feature is, it may be quiet, however it spins the clothes almost dry. Wow, shorter drying time. I love it.

Great basic Washer

This is a very good basic washing machine. It gets the clothes clean and uses enough water to accomplish.

Nice washer

I wanted a washer with a wringer that did not require HE detergent, so I bought this one. It doesn't agitate as much as my old washer, but clothes come out clean. When combined with my new GE dryer, my clothes & linens come out wrinkle free and soft. I really like the stainless steel drum.

I bought this two months ago and the water spilled all over my kitchen and its not spinning at all and there was loud noise during cycle rinse. Call the place where i bought it and they willbe replacing one switch that is not working, now to wait for one to two weeks without washer so fustrating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Water Restrictions Annoying, otherwise good

I was delighted to receive this beautiful washer as a gift and it works well. It is very quiet, which is nice, and seems to have a fairly quick cycle (about 45 mins for a heavy permanent press cycle). However, there are 2 facts I wish I'd known: the water level is actually lower than indicated on the quick guide that comes with the washer - so much so that I thought it wasn't filling properly and called for a repair, only to have the repair guy explain that the new standards mean it only fills to that level. The hot water is also restricted such that a full load on "hot" is actually in water that's closer to lukewarm than hot. Other than the fact that I can't fill the machine to capacity because there won't be enough water and the fact that I can't get a truly hot wash, the washer works well. I've been told that the water level and temperature issues are due to new energy efficiency standards, so that may just be the way all new washers are. I use it almost daily and have had no trouble yet (after about 3 months).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

He installers didn't remove the security bar ( loud banging noise) and the noise scared me till I read the instructions and pulled the bar out to my amazement of the silence and power it has.
