My clothes are still wet & heavy after the spin cycle. Washer washes fine but too weak to extract water during its spin cycle. This is why I rate this washer a 3!

I purchased this washer 4 months ago and it has performed well and kept my clothes clean. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles some machines do, but it does what it's intended to do. I believe GE has always made reliable appliances and I'm sure my washer will give me many great years of service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I made a bad mistake when I bought this washer. I must have been very stressed out
when I chose it. It has one speed for wash & spin in all the cycles. No choices. I cannot believe a company in this modern time would make one to sale like it.

Never stops running even when turned off!!

The rinse cycle too short; the spin cycle twists clothing until one needs to iron the wrinkles in the dry garments in order to be able to be presentable.
the machine is too deep,as I cannot reach the clothes on the bottom of the washer tub. I am 5 feet tall. It would be too dangerous for a child 10 and up to remove the clothes from the washer tub as it is too deep. I hate the "cold only" water rinse cycle. I was not informed that there was no choice in temperature in the rinse cycle. This GE model was not sold as an energy efficient model, but it functions in the same manner. I am sorry I bought it!!

It doesn't rinse properly and no hot water

It doesn't always rinse out the water and soap properly. Had the repairman here twice.
Had a plumber come to check my furnace because I thought my heater was broke. Ended up having a repair man come and tell us that the water doesn't get above 100 degrees.
