It has ripped clothing and sheets

I have been having problems the cloths have been getting ripped when I was washing them and really still are. Do not really know what I can do about that

Okay for the price

Washer died and needed a new one ASAP - this was the only one I could afford on short notice. It's a lot like my old one, simple and easy to use but it doesn't have the pre-soak and heavy soil cycle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hydro wave technology?

Took awhile o get used to hydro wave technology. Had to call GE to make sure that the washer was working properly. Not sure that it is cleaning clothes up to my expectation. Also, having problems with items that have drawstrings. The strings get tangled in the agitator and are difficult to remove. My old GE profile agitator washer did not do this. Guess I should have investigated front loaders but wanted one like my old one. I have always purchased GE appliances and have been satisfied. We'll see how it goes with the new one.

Forgot how awful a center agitator was

I ended up returning this washer for model that did not have a center agitator after only doing a few loads. It ruined several items of clothing that got caught on the fins.

I wanted a machine with an agitator. This machine has an agitator, but agitates so slowly that it might as well not have one at all.

Best washer I have ever had!

I actually bought another brand of washer and when delivered it was defective. So the store manager said he would bring me this GE washer from the store. It has been fabulous. Very quiet, very efficient, the clothes are not so wrinkled when they come out and the colors are bright. Totally satisfied.
