This is a great performing appliance for the money.

It performs all necessary functions for a great end result of getting your clothes clean. The size of the tub is very convenient for those large loads and I really like the stainless steel interior for easy clean up.

In our family there has been a running joke that all our kitchen appliances are LOUD.Not any more ! When the kids are here they do their wash and keep jumping up to see what's wrong with the washer because they can't hear anything happening. It does a beautifully clean load of wash and makes no noise doing it !

The washer was replaced several times and still a number of problems. It is around 3 years old and breaking down again. Only my wife and I so light loads.
Now that the Chinese own GE Appliances I will never buy any GE again.

I wish I had my old washing machine back. However, today's appliances are not built to last. My last washer was only five years old and the repair costs were nearly as much as a new purchase. This washer appeared to be sturdier than the other brands. I liked the stainless steel tub as compared to the cheap looking tubs of other brands. However, I do not like the way it washes. The rapid spin cycle designed to cut down on drying time leaves my clothes in a dangled mess no matter how they are sorted or which setting is used. The water saving feature does not save water because I have to use the power rinse each time to get the soap off. I use the suggested amount for each load and I do not use fabric softener. There is not a buzzer to let you know when the machine is finished washing. I have to set a timer. I did not think to check on this feature when I purchased the washer. I assumed something that costs so little would be included. I was told that I could return it after the first week and get another brand. I had looked at all brands within this price range and concluded this was the best that I could do. I am not happy with this purchase but I haven't found anything better for the price.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value - good washer at a good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer does a great job cleaning clothes and is very quiet compared with my old washer. It does not have lots of bells and whistles (less things to go wrong!) but has everything I need - a selection of water levels, water temps, fabric types and an adequate size drum to do large loads (bed quilts/bulky items). The washer is well designed and easy to use, with a stainless steel interior that looks sturdy. I have been using it for a few months now and I am pleased with it. I also have the matching dryer and have been pleased with it also.

Nice Product - Simple Features

Is there such a thing as too quiet?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used to hearing my old machine agitate. This machine is so quiet I was afraid it was not working. Basic top loader with a FULL RINSE cycle-not a spin rinse. No fancy buttons, no locking lid and a metal tub.Have only had a short time, but so far-so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
