I have owned GE washers for over 20 years, and bought a GTWN2800D1WW
to replace an older model. It has already failed at less than 3 months old. The unit agitates but will not spin, awaiting GE repair.

My washer was installed yesterday, and I have already washed three loads. It's very quiet, the wash cycle is a reasonable length, the spin cycle is effective, and the clothes are clean. I especially like the jumbo sized basket.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I read reviews on so many washers & this one had them all beat. Then I found out my neighbor had replaced her front loading high priced washer with this one & loved it! I absolutely love it, it is so quiet we hardly know it is on & I love the way my clothes come out! Great washer & the price was terrific!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product online without going to the store. It is not quite wat I expected as far as size and agitation, but it works. The agitator has slits cut into it tha often entangle belts and other small items. The agitation is also more gentle than I prefer.

This washer has major issues with rugs that have any waterproof materials. Also it is tearing up most of my clothes. Delicate or not. It rips buttons out of shirts etc. I would not recommend this washer at all.

I have owned this washer since late January and have had to have it repaired 4 times. It's been the worst experience with any appliance. Never again. Who knows how long this washer will last.
