This is a great washer. Does not have a locking lid, which was my requirement. It is very quiet.

Had to buy this model to fit through door, it's not as wide as other models. Control knob does not immediately start cycle..there is a long wait. Also, you can not open lid to add something you dropped because it stops the machine and it does not restart when you close the lid again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
