I have had this unit for about 2 months and have no complaints.
There are some interesting noises that it makes that are explained in the manual. I just shut the utility room door and you can't hear it.

This new simpler model replaced a 2-year old deluxe model that required a new control board processor every 4-8 weeks. This new one, so far, is without any shortcoming whatsoever. Every home should have at least one like this.
