Broke after first wash

The knob broke after the first load. We didn't even have it for 24hours. Thought the washer looked durable when I ordered it in store, but it has just ended in utter disappontment. I don't know how long this family of 6 can go without clean laundry waiting for the protection plan guy to come fix it.

Although the washer does a good job of cleaning clothes, This washer tangles and twist laundry so badly it is a struggle to get them out of the tub. Anything with strings get caught on the bottom of spindle/agitator. Would not recommend this too anyone.

doesn't agitate fast enough to clean any soiled items.I use to use half a capful of detergent with my old washer, (wish I had it back), now use twice the amount of detergent and can't get any suds. If I would he known that this washer agitated so slow, I never would have bought it. I'll never buy another GE product again

Not a good washer. It wasn't that long ago that I remember buying washers and having them for years and getting your money's worth. This washer ain't that and the last one we bought wasn't either Still waiting for warranty repair man. Doesn't agitate properly. Bangs before it spins. Plastic parts from the top of the tub, breaking off. I don't know what's happened to appliance reliability, if it's the energy efficiency, I don't know. Guess we have to buy a new washer every year. Will change brands till I find a good one.

Does not wash and rinse compleatly.

I'm very dissatisfy with this product! This is the first washer i had that wont wash and rinse the clothes completely. It damages the clothes because it tangles them while it is washing thus stretching the fabric.

Hasn't met my expectations

I have been pretty disappointed in this washer. For every 3 loads I wash - at least 1 has to be readjusted or it makes a terrible knocking sound and "walks" across the floor. I have been doing laundry since I was 12 years old and now at 53 I know how to load laundry and no matter what I do it always goes out of balance. The washer itself seems too light.

Do not buy!

Never had any problems with previous washers. It's 3 months old and I have only used it about 20 times. It was fine at first but now it slams around during spin cycle. At 71 I know how to load a machine! I put a magnet on the cover control so I could leave the cover open and watch it through the entire cycle. This washer only puts about 6 inches of water into the drum on the rinse cycle causing the clothing to get caught on the agitator and thrown to one side. THIS MACHINE UNBALANCES ITSELF. I'll post again after the repair person leaves and let you know how GE handles this problem. I have always had positive results with GE.
