OMG soooo much better than what I had!

I have only had this 2 weeks and I control the water levels, I can soak clothes! They don't come out dirty or twisted into knots! So far so Good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned GE appliances for over 20 years which included refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, dryer. My previous GE Profile washer was noiseless with many functions. I realize the current model I have is not top of the line, however, it is extremely noisy in all cycles on all settings. I can hear it operating when on my the second story of my home. I do like the stainless steel tub.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good washer with good features. Wife is happy lid does not lock. Please keep making appliances like this. Equally happy with matching dryer.

This is the second new washer I'm on so far, the first one had to be replaced within 10 days of it being delivered after it had a major leak and flooded my laundry room. I'm really disappointed in the quality of workmenship. I've owned GE's in the past back in the day when then were made with quailty conponats and pride. One look and you can tell that this washer will not last as long as the one it replaced. They don't make them like they used to has never been truer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
