Gentle on Clothes

I bought this washing machine about a month ago and I
noticed that my clothes seemed cleaner. It has a biig drum
and holds a really large load but will also wash a really small load.
I am very pleased with it and would recommend it to my friends.

I bought this washer in June of 2014. I absolutely love it. It's quiet, faster & simple to use. I love that it has so many options; small, large, X large & super. I would recommend this washer to anybody. GE is the best.

If you want a quality top load washer , this is it ! Quiet, energy efficient, water efficient, and more importantly cleaner clothes !

Large capacity

I am a laundry 'diva' I enjoy having a new washer with a large capacity, stainless steel basket. However there are a couple of things I do not like about the washer. First, the magnets are annoying, useless and in fact prohibits me from other functions I consider important. I want to soak my clothing for awhile after filling the basket, I can't do this, I can't open the top to see if my choice of water is appropriate for the load without throwing off the cycle...who are you protecting with this stupid magnet. Are you afraid I will jump into a running machine?? I cannot remove it, as the washer won't run without it. Second, the agitator has holes in it near the bottom that catches bra straps, and pulls them in! I can no longer put my pantyhose into the washer as I could with my old washer as it pull them into the agitator holes and destroys them. I have tried putting them into a mesh bag but it gets ripped apart. Third, why do I have to put my water softener into the agitator and change the cycle to add an additional rinse? Why can't I just put in the ball filled with softener into the machine and have it open up in the rinse cycle. Have the engineers ever done laundry??? Fourth, it seems the rinse cycle doesn't offer enough water, can't figure this out. Aside from these very important defects the machine does clean my wash better than the old one. How, it does this with all the deficiencies is beyond me.

The washer washes clothes real good. A little noisy & the basket is too deep. To get something out from the bottom of the washer I need to either call someone or use a grabber to get it.

Simple and efficient, just what I wanted!

I was wanting a top loader but didn't need all the bells an whistles, so I read the previous reviews an they all seemed t just say all they were looking for was a washer that gets the job done, and this one does, it is quite and the only noise I hear is when it switches from one cycle to another.

The washer so far has done all that it states it will do but find it get's off balance alot. Lots of clicks tends to get anoying
