Worst washer i have ever owned

Less then 2 years old, leaks water & service cannot find the leak, does not drain water out completely, have to do multiple spin cycles to get all the water out. plus periodic metal grinding noise while in spin cycle & many other issues with this piece of JUNK. Don`t waste your money on this Junk. Time for a new washer for me.

Goes out of balance

I have to babysit with washer when washing. The machine will go out of balance very easy. I would not buy this machine again. I will do a lot of research next time I purchase a machine.

Great Washer - Simple and Easy
on April 10, 2015

I've always been fond of GE products so when my other Washing Machine went kaput after many years, I was happy to see GE had very reasonably priced washers with great reviews at both Lowes and Home Depot. I read all the features for the fancy ones, but really didn't need all the bells and whistles. This is a great washer. All I have to do is set the load size, whether it's hot or cold water and I always leave it on fabric softener and then set load to Heavy or Regular. I always leave it on the Permanent Press Cycle and have had no problems. I was a little concerned, as my last washer had a "Gentle" and "Regular" cycle and I didn't know if it would damage my "Gentle" items, as it didn't have that option. I haven't had any problems. Everything comes out clean and undamaged! I would highly recommend this washer.

washer drum moves so slowly that i wonder if i have a defective washer. laundry is not always washed adequately. towels sometimes need to be washed a second time due to a mildew type odor. i attribute this to the slow agitation movement during the wash cycle that is most likely not strong enough to thoroughly wash them - as well as the slow rinse cycle that is probably not rinsing thoroughly either. My old washer did a much better job! The start knob is hard to pull out. The spin dry cycle is so loud it sounds like a plane taking off.

Poor

Bought this as companion to the dryer (which I love). The rinse cycle only fills the basket 1/3 of the way. It really beats the clothes up. I've taken to stopping the rinse, turning it back to wash (to get the basket to fill up), letting it run through the wash cycle without soap, then turning it back to spin to finish. So I have to babysit the entire process. First appliance that I have owned that I really hate.

General Electric put out a great product. Washer is great and extremely quiet during
operation. Was delivered and installed on 9/26/20015, and my wife and I have been very pleased with it. I certainly would recommend this product to anyone and would definitely purchase GE products again and in the future. Well satisfied!!!

I bought this recently & options are quite easy for me to choose. I prefer quick wash for few clothes & rarely uses permanent press. White for just white clothes. Noiseless machine I love to use this. :-)
