Had to get a new washer after six inches of water in basement three months ago. Have always had GE but I do miss my mini basket. No problems and great features.

We bought the machine to fit into a small laundry area in a condo. It fits. The clothes look clean. Boy, does it make a lot of noise! We also bought the companion dryer, which also fits in the small space. Like it a lot.

Great Washer

I have had my washer about two months. It is really great, very quiet and fast and the clothes are clean. I like that I have some control over the amount of water used and determine the size of the load. I wish the spin was a little stronger to remove more water, but I knew it wasn't when I bought it. Sometimes I do a second spin on heavy items. I also like the stainless steel tub.

Love that the lid does not lock!

I hated the locking lid on my prior washer so a non-locking lid was one of the main features that I was looking for. This is a basic washer without a lot of bells and whistles but it seems to do the job well. The wash cycles are quick, it is very quiet, the clothes come out clean and the lid doesn't lock so I can actually add clothes after the cycle starts without any hassles.
I would recommend this to a friend!
