Great features, but needs practice of use

This is a great phone for calls, texting, photos, video, contacts, and recent calls access but it did need getting used to. Not used to calling up dialpad when necessary to move through a menu during a call, for one thing. It was necessary to download the owners manual for connectivity understanding. Not used to having to insert a miniSD card on the phone for storage in order to access files on the PC when connected. Now that those issues have been taken care of I can enjoy the size, functionality, good camera, ease of texting, voice mail, and great reception and call quality.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Features/Settings, Quality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible Phone

Just received and it is going back PRONTO! Be aware there is an annoying bar that appears on the bottom of the screen every time you make a call. "Slide to unlock" You have to slide this up every 2 seconds if you need to use any of the icons beneath it, speaker, dial pad etc and if you use too much pressure you will tap the end call icon. A rep explained this bar appears so you don't accidentally disconnect your call, but I have a light touch and I have disconnected the call by sliding this bar. Also the volume is very low. And unlocking the phone is confusing. I have the phone on unlock, but it will lock if YOU turn it off. If you just let the phone sleep, it will not lock. WHY???!!! Plus the camera button is in a bad location.

Great for those who prefer texting

Had a 1st generation Iphone, and loved it but I needed something that allowed me to not be so attached to it. I'm more of a text kinda guy, and, could care less whats going on in the social media world... that's what my laptop and desktop are for. Touchscreen adds a nice touch, but, again, I prefer the QWERTY slide down keyboard.
Pros: Performance, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good phone

This phone has good sound quality for calls. The qwerty keyboard makes texting easy. Web surfing is slow and it runs out of memory quickly. I thought adding a memory card would help, but it doesn't..
Pros: easy to use, Quality

This phone does have some good features

Other reviews of this phone were not great, but I needed a quick messaging phone, the price was reasonable, and I did not think I would be as critical as those who had used smart phones and other more expensive phones. I previously used a flip phone, so had to get used to the touch screen. The camera button seems very insensitive, takes forever to take a photo, and it does not have a flash. The screen locks too quickly, seems like I have to slide it to unlock it too often. The slide-out keyboard is handy, the battery life is more than adequate. I don't use the internet on it, have a Kindle tablet for that, so I cannot give an accurate review on data usage features.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings

terrible phone!!

this is a terrible phone. I cant just leave it in my pocket because it will get on to weird apps, call people multiple times, and get onto the browser. it takes 5 seconds to close out of something. the text box fills up so you have to delete messages every day to get new messages. every time I would slide my phone to text something it would restart witch was very frustrating. the touch screen and the internet is a joke and it takes forever to receive and send messages. very hard to work and the camera is terrible. a few times my mom has tried to call me and nothing went through when she called multiple times, it didn't show anyone was calling or that anyone had called. I have had my phone for 8 months and have hated it from the first month. do not get this phone or you will be stuck with a bad phone for 2 years!!

Simple, and easy to use, but some Errors.

I had to get this phone as my first phone in the begging of Middle school, because i had to pay for it myself. My first year, was a success using it, because it was cheap and had a camera, app center, music store, web, you name it and i was able to customize it a little, but my second year was unfair and this phone really just got irrating. I could not enter the Appcenter or Music store anymore, and i don't know why, the memory was starting to get low(if this happens i suggest you look into buying a sandisk), and also it always said i had 13 messages when i only had one. Overall, if your someone who needs a cheap phone, with an easy plan, and a few extra features than i suggest you buy this phone, but if you want your very own customized, compact phone than i would go for something with more to offer. Its really a good phone for starters but their will be some errors, and annyoinces.
