This phone has many quality features and is extremely easy to use. I have added a memory card to my phone and I have been able to save hundreds of pictures. I use the USB cable to transfer these pictures to my computer, where I am able to create slide shows that are set to music.
The alarm clock feature is another feature that I utilize. When an alarm is set, you have the ability to hit the snooze button just as you would on a traditional alarm clock.
I am also pleased with the profile information that can be entered on each contact. For some of my contacts, I have added their mailing address, email address, and even their IM id. The ease of adding a picture and a special ringtone to a contact is a great feature as well. I also have certain family members birthdays included and put them on the calender and have scheduled a reminder for them for each year. This way, I can send them a text message and wish them a happy birthday.
I love the fact that I can have an internal and external wallpaper with this phone. I have 4 grandchildren and I love to rotate pictures of them on both of these displays.
So, if you are looking for a phone that is simple to use that is packed with many useful features, then this is the phone.

This phone is easy to use as everything about it is simple and logical. It has automatic settings that affirm the completion of a call or text. The preset ringtones and reminders are pleasing to the ear. It is lightweight, easy on the eyes, and the battery holds a charge longer than any other phone I have owned. Importantly, the coverage is also the best yet for me, and I live in a remote area with many huge trees. I don't use all the features at this time. I love knowing they're there and will be as easy to use as the basics I'm currently using.

most everything on this phone works well. Except. there seems to be a noise cancelling feature(?) that is very annoying. It cuts off the first part of what is being said. The person being called from this phone gets a "scratchy" audio.
Taking it back. this seems to be an issue with LG phones I've received calls from.

We absolutely love our LG A340s. Everything about them is great. Don't really use the camera too much, but the wife uses hers and the pictures are good. We also use them for texting which can be a little bit overwhelming due to no qwerty keyboard. Our next phones will have the qwerty keyboard. Highly recommend the LG A340 to anyone and every one. Enjoy.

Long Battery & Lightweight

This phone goes 2 weeks on a charge. It's very lightweight. It works great for getting my laptop to the Internet.

HORRIBLE SOUND

This is the worst sounding phone ever. It's like chalk on a blackboard. Whether on speaker on not. Also keys don't respond well. I don't use cell much, now stuck with this I will only use for emergency. My husband has the same phone he hates it too. Always dropping calls, and not user friendly. He has bluetooth which helps the sound . Do not get if you are not a bluetooth user.
Pros: worst speaker ever, horrible sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the first cell phone i ever purchased. i bought it in 2013 and it serves all of my needs. i am 54 y/o. i do not have any need for the smart phones.
