I was initially not satisfied with the range as it was delivered with one of the range top
elements not functioning.
After getting a replacement I enjoy using the range. It cooks efficiently and required little time
to get familiar with the glass cook top. It is easy to keep clean and also looks good in my home.

This is a very nice range, it does have one annoying quirk to it when the oven heats up their is a loud clicking sound. Once it reaches temperature its stops, then starts again when it has to maintain temperature .

This is a very nice looking appliance. Internally there is a bunch of space. At Thanksgiving we were able to cook a 24 pound Turkey along with a ham and some additional side dishes all at the same time.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: a bit difficult to clean the stove top surface

This range top does not clean as well as expected. The circle showing where you place your pots came off after about 1 week. A good feature is the samsung repair people came out fast. I am looking to purchase new range with a more durable glass top.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall range is good. However if you do a lot of baking as I do , you might be irritated by the oven light. You have to manually turn it on each time you open and close the oven door. There is also only 2 settings on broil , just Hi or Low. Not even a temp setting as my previous GE . The glass top should be contantly cleaned or you will have left over burned on marks that can not be removed.

Thanks for the feedback! The oven light is actually designed to turn on automatically when you open the oven door. If yours isn't doing this, it's possible the button inside the door that turns the light on and off is stuck in the "closed door" position. I would suggest checking it for debris or residue. For tips to clean the cook top and help prevent it from becoming stained, please refer to page 22 of the User Manual.

Only One Flaw

Overall this is a great range. Works great, looks great.
However, I have one comment about the storage drawer. The small indentation, that is the spot to pull the drawer out with, is a major defect. When you attempt to pull open the drawer with your finger(s), the top of your finger knuckle will wedge between the indentation and the bottom of the oven door. It can be quite painful on your knuckle and there is no alternative. My fingers are somewhat small and I can only imagine the problem that a person with larger hands would have.
I don't understand why they did not put a handle on the drawer like the one on the oven door.
After using my range for a few days, I looked at the drawer design of two other manufacturers and they have a matching handle at both the oven door and storage drawer. Looked great. I'm considering purchasing the oven door handle and installing it on the storage drawer. I don't think I can ever get used to the pain from the indentation slot. Design appears to have been sacrificed for a cost saving.
All other aspects of the range are great. I love the "proof" function and the smooth top design.

These Samsung products are awarded the very best. There is a very good reason why. The quality of workmanship features benefits etc. surpass all other brands. There is a great feeling of confidence when you see the Samsung logo and the appliances.
