Great features and user friendly.Very loud cycling

I bought this washer when my old washer (different brand) of over 20 years quit. I bought it to match my current GE dryer. They both are great appliances. The GE washer has great features and is user friendly. The only thing I am trying to get use to is, its very loud and several cycle changing noises.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Kind of noisy

The washer appears to get things clean, but is kind of noisy when it runs, especially in the spin cycle. I will probably stuff a pillow or something behind it, as I've found that when I push on the back of the unit, it dampens the sound.

Doing Laundry is easy. Love the ease of the dials and start button. The machine is quiet, has an agitator, large capacity, and the price was right!!!

This is the second GE washer that I have owned. I like that it as all the sensors of HE washer, but still can use regular detergent. Love the stainless steel tub!!!

I bought this when my 14 month old Maytag refused to work one Saturday morning.
My new GE washer works like a washer should. You can open the lid when you need to and it does not take an hour to run a cycle. It spins fast but doesn't sound like a jet taking off. I love the deep tub and it's many choices for washing loads. I can use regular laundry detergent and not the HE brands that leave clothes and machine with a sour odor.
