i brought this machine a year ago last month and i was washing and it just cut off i read the packet that was for trouble shooting but did not help my problem i unplug the machine and it came back on the next morning
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

GRRREAT Washing machine!!

We researched the "new" washing machines and were not impressed with all the idea of having to buy additional cleaning agents to "clean" the machine after using it. This model does not require any of that "stuff" and it is quiet and cleans the clothes and spin drys them very, very well. We are delighted we found and bought it.

G-E does more than make good aircraft engines...

The G-E washer/Dryer combination for our home is a workhorse match for a busy family! The dials that direct operation are simple and easy to read...which are much less complicated than the single dial, multi-colored with various Christmas lights and jingle bell alerts. Most impressive was how clean the clothes get using the stainless steel interior drum. I first thought the cost was a bit pricey compared to other brands...but worth every cent when you see the machines tackle various big loads at various water or dry temperatures without damage or under cleaning even kids or construction gear.

Even with "super level" on washer, not enough water to cover clothes.

I have had this washing machine for almost a year, and I am impressed by the "lack of noise" when I am washing a load, and I am amazed at how clean my clothes are. I notice too that it takes less time to dry the clothes in the dryer because the machine truly wrings out the water. I really appreciate this washer.
