looks are deceiving

We have had this washer for 8 months and are not impressed with it. It takes 25 minutes longer to do a load of clothes and half the time we have to do 2 to 3 spins to get all the water out of the tub on top of the extra time it already takes. This machine is supposed to save money but with extra run time and spin cycles how can it. Also many times the clothes come out all tied up in knots and i have to try to untangle them, many of my spouses panty hose have been ruined with this machine. In all I would stay away from this machine if I had to buy again soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fine washer.

I have had this washer for nearly a year now and it has done everything I expect it to, namely wash clothes. It is not a miracle worker, but I don't think any washer is, especially with kids who spill food and play in dirt. I haven't had any issues with clothes being dry and still folded when they come out, but then again, I don't fold dirty clothes or towels. Overall, it has been fine and I haven't had any problems.

I've almost started enjoying doing laundry, this washer is so perfect. I love not having to set the water level, but can leave it set to automatically gauge how much water is needed. Adding the softener at the onset is terrific too!

A bit hard to get used to

It seems to do the wash okay. I feel I don't have any control as to how long a load can wash. I miss having no minutes to choose from. Can't say I'm very satisfied.

Wow What a Washer

We purchased our new GE washer to replace a 20-year old washer. The one feature that caught our eye was the Automatic Load Sensing feature, which senses the load size and automatically determines how much water to use. The layout of the control panel is logical and easy to understand.

I bought this washer six weeks ago and it works just fine. It is a little loud but not extremely so. It uses a much smaller amount of water than my previous washers and still gets the clothes clean. I also thought the price was great.

I bought this machine about a month ago and am very pleased with my purchase. It definitely gets my clothes cleaner that the newer type machines without an agitator. The only bad thing I would say about this machine is that it is not a quiet as I thought it would be, but I will take that any day over the other washer I had.
