Nothing is ever clean...ever

Maybe this washer came into existence at the beginning of the energy efficiency era. It may explain why it fails to clean any clothing. You cannot wash more than 5 T-shirts at a time. You just can’t. It doesn’t fill with enough water at all to clean anything more, regardless of the volume setting. Good luck with sheets. And I argue that it is no longer efficient by the time you are done washing 10 small loads instead of 2-3 big loads. I will buy a different brand when it is time to buy a new washer, which is really disappointing because GE was always my go to. On a positive note, it is quiet, so there’s that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not built to last

We have replaced the control panel twice and it just went out again. I wish things were built to last and with pride.

i REALLY LIKE THE LOAD SENSOR

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that I had been wasting a lot of water with my old washer. Now the Load Sensor takes the guesswork out of it. It runs very quietly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this product for about two months. It is an amazing machine and we have not been sorry for the investment.
The clothes are cleaner with less water and detergent.
It is very quiet and it's had to tell what cycle is running.
It probably has more buttons and whistles than we really needed but we love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I like getting my money's worth when I pay hard earned cash for a product, I was a little nervous about deciding on this GE GTWN4250. After two months of use I am very pleased and happy that I chose this brand and model. It works as advertised and the more I use it the more I like it. If it lasts 13 years like the GE washer it replaced I will buy another GE without hesitation.
