Bought this a month ago and am very pleased with it. It has a quiet operation and huge capacity, and is simple to use. Looking forward to the energy savings that the manual indicates I will see.

I decided to purchase a basic washer after my Kenmore elite washer needed repairs after only 7 years. This washer is easy to use and has many settings to adjust to your loads. Yes, it does at times sound like it has a lot of small aches and pains but this is normal according to the ge site. The only thing lacking is a buzzer of some sort to alert you that the load is finished.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When My 20 year old May tag broke I thought id never be happy with another washer. I love this ge! My son and husband can even use it!

We were looking for a washer with an old fashioned agitator and the ability to control the water fill. This washer fit the bill! It also gives the option to switch to HE fill if you choose. But, we used an HE front load (other Mfr.) for many years prior and didn't feel the laundry was ever really clean and it always went off balance. Now, with this washer, we are confident our laundry is fresh and clean. It works wonderfully and is super quiet. We haven't had any balance issues. Looks great too. Would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this a month ago and not happy. If you make a change the water run out. You have to start over again. My towels look gray looking. I don't like this small load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
