Love - Love - Love My GE Washer

I love doing laundry now. The machine is quick and quiet. The clothes come out smelling clean and fresh. I turned in new Smart washer for this GE model and it's the best thing I did. Can't say enough.

We've had this washer for about a month - I've loaded every type of laundry and am delighted with this machine. It's sort of a hybrid as it has the high efficiency benefits but I can also choose the water level and can open the lid during the cycle to throw something extra in the wash. I was so upset when our old top loader gave up, but am surprisingly happy with this machine.

Drying time cut in half!

We bought this washer a few weeks ago and were immediately impressed with the quietness of the cycles, and especially the way it wrings the clothes dry. So dry that we save time and money in the dryer stage. And it does not destroy your clothes the way some washers might.

Replaced a washer after 15+ years. Searched for weeks before deciding on new one. Wanted something similar to what I had previously (large capacity, sturdy, many wash options). Washer does a great job getting clothes clean and handles large loads very well. Spin cycle removes all excess water so that clothes dry faster in dryer.
While researching literally ##'s of washers, I read the comments about this machine not using enough water and being too loud. I needed to get used to seeing less water in the basin bc my old washer used a lot of water for each load. Having had to use the laundromat on several occasions, I saw water little water the front loaders used. My clothes are always very clean (and I have already plenty of dirty, muddy, stinky clothes). I appreciate the efficient use of water, especially living a drought stricken area.
As far as the washer being loud, again I had to get used to the new sounds this machine makes. I was not looking for a silent appliance (it's a washing machine!). I had a "Quiet" model previously and this washer is as quiet, if not quieter, than my old one.
All in all, I am very happy with the choice I made.
