Good Machine

We bought this about a year ago and have had great success with it, really no issues to speak of. It does get a little loud when it spins at the end of the cycle but other than that it seems to get our clothes clean and I do like the Auto Fill feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Doesn't use enough water

I am disappointed that the clothes don't smell clean. It uses so little water that I don't think it washes and rinses thoroughly.

Pretty old fashioned

I am so happy to get a "no frills" agitator top loading washer. We had one of those expensive front loading washers and had problem after problem with it. ( it wasn't a GE) I just wanted to get back to a basic washer. This one seems to even hold a bigger load than that old one. Has plenty of cycles and temperatures. Washes well and spins the clothes well. I love it.

I have bought three sets of this washer/dryer. One for myself, one for my daughter and one for my son. My washer had to be replaced after 18 months so I was very disappointed it didn't last longer. My new washer that was delivered didn't even work. The next one works but bumps like crazy. I bought them because the lid does not lock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We buy top loads because they get the dirt out far better then front load wahers,,and our favorate brand is GE because of their features and agitator system.

GE Washer just a washing machine

Not as good as any of my older brands but then everyone tells me that new appliances are not made to last long. They need to sell more. Anyway you have to use the largest load cycle to get enough water in the large tub to cover your small load of laundry.. A clean wash means small load at largest load cycle so you don't save water are all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
