Good mixture of "old" and "new" features
on September 12, 2014

We purchased this washer as part of a set earlier this month and are pleased with its functions and capabilities. As an energy efficient washer it takes longer than our old washer when you use the "green" features, but it does a good job. It well combines the new and the old technology which we were looking for.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Top load washer

It's the only top load washer I could find with water level fill option! Wish it had a finished cycle signal.

This washing machine is a great product. It has a large tub and lots of features. It does all it was advertised to do. (The dryer I purchased is another story altogether!!)
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basic washer, like the Hydrowave, needs a buzzer
on September 15, 2014

My biggest beef is the washer needs a buzzer at the end of the cycle. Hopefully, engineering can take this as a consumer suggestion. The washer works fine and I like the water auto-sense feature. Two suggestions: #1 I put my detergent in a cup and rinse the cup out in the washer. If you have the water come in at auto sense, the water stops when the lid is opened. So, I switch it to a manually selected load size and rinse the empty cup of detergent because the water stays on when you select a load size and doesn't stop when the lid is open. Then I switch back to auto sense. I don't like that you can't wash with warm water and rinse with cold. This would be a real energy saver. The water temp you use to wash is the same on as the one the washer will use to rinse. Speaking of rinsing, you have to select "Power Rinse" if you want the wash water to completely drain and fill the tub with clean water. If you do not use the Power Rinse cycle, the clothes are rinsed without the tub being totally empty.
