Plenty of wahing opts. but hard to get spin opts.

very happy with performance, great job cleaning. Load size is not the best for proper selection of water. have soap left in wash after removal due to this.

Bought this one for a new house based on the one I left in the old house. It screeches when it agitates which aggravates me. Will be having service on this tomorrow.

We have had the washer for a week and are so glad we bought a "back to basics" machine.
Our previous fancy electronic unit lasted five years and could not be repaired. We believe this machine will give much better service.

Not happy at all

I have had this machine just under a year. The machine is so light in weight I easily moved it in the house without a hand truck or assistance. I am in my 60's.
In the beginning I was ok with the machine, it was quiet and doing a fair job.
Then the machine started walking around the laundry room. Checked the leveling, was very careful with loading. No improvement.
Then the clothes began coming out smelling like old milk. Changed detergents, ran cleaners through the machine. No improvement.
Was advised by the sales person where I purchased the machine to call GE service. I did. What a fiasco that was. Finally repair people came out and determined the machine was moving about to much and ordered some kind of dampeners for the tub and replaced them.
Anyway, I am not happy with the washing results, machine cycles take to long, the machine is going to be traded in on a Speed Queen. Should have done better research in the beginning. Industrial machines don't come under the regulations residential machines do.
We have a family of 3. This machine has not been abused or overworked. It has just fallen to the times, over government regulations, cheap construction, over pricing.
The machine aesthetics seems ok, what I can tell under these government mandated energy saving light bulbs.
Buyer beware.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this washer. It does a great job and is not complicated to operate. I like that it has a automatic fill for the water level.
