I bought this washer 2 months after having an old set for 15 years. I love this new washer. I did a lot of research before making my purchase and I am so glad I chose this model. I like to start the washer and go do other things and this washer gives me that freedom. It never gets unbalanced or has any issues.

Good features, but doesn't have a separate temperature setting for wash and rinse portion of the cycle.

Very quiet wash cycle

I had not tried a new washer in over 20 years. I was pleasantly surprised by the available features on my new GE washer. There have been a lot of new bells and whistles added. My favorioe new featue is the load sensor . Put the clothes in and the washer selects the water level.

Got rid of the front loader

How I've missed a top loader. It's so nice to have clean clothes again. It's taken time to get used to all the clicks and bang sounds this machine makes. I've had the washer for 3 months and have recently had a issue with the auto load sensing feature. I did just move so maybe that has something to with it. The washer was filling with water as if I had it set to *super load* instead of small or medium setting . Filled to the top of the tub. Kinda scary. I used the washer again today and it filled to a medium level when on auto sensing. Hoping that it resets it self before I call GE.
Other than that issue I'm happy with this machine. Have no plans to ever go back to a front loader.

Wish I still had my old washing machine...

I bought this machine two months ago because my old machine stopped working. It takes at least an hour to do a load and it does not seem to swish the load for more than 20 seconds. I have to wash some clothes inside out and the dirt it still visible when the wash is done. I am trying different cycles to see how to get them cleaner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
