Big improvement over the newer low water high mode

We have had our new washer and dryer for 3 days and are very satisfied with wash performance. Great improvement over the high tech low water model we returned.

Machine washes with almost no sound. Large enough to wash blankets and comforters.

NO Gears makes is a very quiet washer. The wash drum is huge and looks like it can handle any load. Different cycles and options couldn't be better

Best of both worlds

Had this washer for 3 weeks and I must say, I like it! It has a real agitator. Wasn't going to buy an energy star washer because of horror stories until I found this one. You can save energy for lightly soiled items or go old school and manually select load size, add prewash, extra rinse or soak in jeans or towels modes. Oh, the lid doesn't lock and you can pause the cycle. It's the best of both worlds. The reviews convinced to buy it, I'm glad I did.

Important Features Missing

This washer does a good job but is missing a few features. It has a very large drum (3.9 cubic feet), but the super size wash load only fills the drum about 3/4 full. Also, there is no end-of-cycle buzzer (which my last washer had), and it has no truly "Warm " water setting. The choices are "Tap Cold", "Cold", "Cool", "Colors" (cold), "Warm" (which is quite hot), and "Hot"(which is very hot). With all the choices, a truly warm would be nice.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
